Mental Health Day Celebration (09-10-2021) Theme: Mental Health In An Unequal World
Mental health day 2021 was celebrated at the Department of Psychiatry at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Siruvachur on 09-10-2021. Dr.M.Subhashini M.D (Psych), Consultant Psychiatrist, Neuro centre, Trichy has consented to be the chief guest and Dr. Maragathamani Elangovan MBBS., M.S (General Surgery), Dean, DSMCH, Siruvachur graced the occasion as guest of honour. Welcome address of the Programme was given by Dr.Jaisingh, Associate Professor followed by Chief guest address. The event progressed with inter college skit competition based on the theme. Scientific session based on the theme was presented by Dr.Faraz. Senior Resident. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the competition. The students of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Nursing has secured III prize in skit competition. The event was closed with Vote of thanks by Dr. Nirmal, Professor and HOD, Psychiatry, DSMCH.
